How things have changed in my lifetime

I was adopted by a couple who lived through the Great Depression. Neither of them grew up with running water or electricity. My mom grew up on a farm that her father rented. Whereas, my father grew up in a town setting. Mom’s family had little money, but they had a lot of food for the five of them. However, Dad’s family of six had little money or food. The lesson is, it’s best to control large sections of land when hard times befall us. Neither of the families owned a vehicle. The farm ran on animal power and provided my mom’s family with their transportation needs. My father’s family had only their feet for their transportation.

I tell you of my parents because how they grew up influenced how they raised me. I was born in the year of 1961. Our television ran on vacuum tubes in the sixties and it was only black and white, and It was huge. Now I don’t watch television because my computer tower gives me more content than I am able to watch. Even more amazing is my tablet. I watch television shows from my childhood every night and chess game play instructions while the tablet rests on my lap. And, I play chess games over the Internet with no wall connection! We do have a television, but only my wife uses it.

I remember the funeral of President Kennedy. I remember his little boy, John F. Kennedy Jr., saluting his father’s casket as the horses drew the casket past him. I could see how the lack of food affected my father during his childhood. One day, the milk went sour. It smelled so awful. I refused to drink it. As is, I wouldn’t drink milk without chocolate. I watched Dad pour the milk into a tall glass, it came out with chucks! Dad told me that his three brothers had only a quart of milk to share every week during the Great Depression. Then I watched Dad drink all of the soured milk. Hard times make harden men and women, I learned that day. During the Covid pandemic, there was a food shortage. It didn’t affect me because I have a wide range of foodstuffs that I am willing to eat that others wouldn’t eat. Thus, I didn’t go without meat. People have become so soft in this age. I admit, I couldn’t match my Dad’s mental fortitude to drink spoiled milk.

Back in the sixties, there wasn’t a movement to feminize American men. If the 2023 American population were switched to the 1940 American population, the WWII war would have been lost to the Axis powers. My teachers in the sixties and the seventies never discussed their sexuality with their students. Moreover, my teachers never asked me or the other students if we were sure of our genders. Furthermore, the only flag that hung in our classrooms was the American flag. There wasn’t such a thing as boys claiming to be girls and wanting to use the girls’ bathrooms and the girls’ locker rooms. In high school, a young man lost a bet on how he would perform in a football game. He kept his word and showed up dressed as a woman. The females had a high time at this young man’s expense. I said nothing because I admired him for keeping his word.

The political landscape isn’t remotely like it was in the sixties and seventies. In those two decades, there wasn’t a glaring difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. But now, the Democrats have become a cancerous tumor in the body of America. I’m not saying the Republican Party is perfect, whereas, Democrats have lost their sanity and their intelligence. Prior to the year 2000, if one asked any Democratic, “What is a woman?” They would have been able to answer this simple question, but now, in 2023, Democrats can only stammer upon being asked this easy question that a child in the sixties could answer with ease.

The stupidity has even spread to the medical field. I watched Matt Walsh’s documentary, “What is a woman?” I watched in astonishment as doctor after doctor who couldn’t define what is a woman. If you asked any of my classmates in the sixties if men could also give birth to babies, my classmates would have giggled at such a stupid question. On two occasions, I saw two doctors testify under oath before Congress that men can get pregnant. These two doctors were asked if men could get pregnant. One of the doctors said, “Yes, men can become pregnant and they must have access to reproductive healthcare services.” The other doctor answered, “Yes, men can get pregnant, especially trans-men.” Both of these doctors said they were Democrats.

Of course, I had to email my Doctor who is a Democrat to report the testimony of these two doctors. I asked him if there was a risk of my wife getting me pregnant. I received no reply from him. Shortly after that, I had an appointment with my Dentist. I related those two doctors’ testimonies, and I asked her if there was a risk of me getting pregnant. She laughed because she knew I was trolling her. My Dentist said she had heard what those two doctors had said and what they said was ridiculous. And speaking of stupid, Democratic U.S. Representative Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm, and when the D.C. police questioned Bowman, Bowman said he thought the fire alarm lever opened the door next to it. I would be remiss if I didn’t inform you that Bowman had been a principal and I assume he had been a teacher before he was a principal. In all of my schooling, no student ever pulled a fire alarm thinking it would open a door because we all were able to read. In my lifetime, I have witnessed Democrats descend the intelligence chart from the brilliant to the moronic whether be they doctors, politicians, or the common voter.

I remember when the richest man in the world was only a millionaire, new cars were only $3,000, a gallon of gasoline was only 33 cents, a brand-new house was only $12,000, and the national debt in 1961, the year I was born, was only $288 billion. Of course, salaries were much less too, however, a skilled man’s salary was sufficient so the mother could stay home for the children’s sake. In the sixties, none of my friends’ mothers had to work outside of the home. In the graph below, you see the power of compound interest and the restraint the Gold Standard had on our government’s spending. The United States left the Gold Standard in the year of 1971.

In closing, the Democrat Party is the party for the crazies with the policy of taxing more and spending even more. The Republican Party is the party of lowering taxes but spending even more. Neither political party has served our country well for the last four decades.

I forgot to include child mutilation. In the sixties, no doctor in America would have performed gender transition treatment on a child even with the child’s patients’ permission/urging. This movement for child mutilation stems from the Democrats’ spreading of the Woke virus. I invite you to watch this Tucker Carlson episode about “gender-affirming care” for children.
