Pacific Standard Reports’ members have wrestled with this question going on four years. We have the same military as when President Obama was in command. Yes, President Trump has untethered our soldiers from President Obama’s restrictive rules of engagement and yes, President Trump does not warn the enemy that our soldiers are about to attack as President Obama did, and yes, President Trump fires generals for non-performance. All that aside, President Obama had eight years to deal with ISIS. We believe even with President Obama’s poor leadership of our military, our military would have wiped ISIS from the land in four years let alone in eight. Something else must have been afoot for our military to have not prevailed against ISIS. We at PSR believe there were two factors: 1. Our soldiers were facing our own tactics and weapons on the battlefield. 2. Hillary Clinton, through Huma Abedin, was supplying advance knowledge of our military plans. It is odd these countries’ ambassadors had meetings with Hillary Clinton on the same day they gave millions of dollars to Hillary and Bill Clinton. It is further odd these countries were able to buy hundreds of millions of dollars of weapons from our nation’s arms contractors, and, moreover, these same countries were supporting ISIS and other jihadists our soldiers were meeting on the battlefield.
