Our response to Adam Schiff.

While it’s true, the hacking of Podesta’s emails was illegal, it’s also true that corruption and dishonesty to the American public were exposed.

Schiff raises the fact that the Russians were trying to exert influence upon the Trump campaign covertly and into the presidency of Donald Trump. Schiff is implying criminality on the part of President Trump, to the contrary, that makes President Trump the victim of Russian crimes.

Schiff says the Attorney General is not the president’s personal lawyer. William Barr’s job, as our Attorney General, is to protect innocent citizens, broadly speaking. President Trump is a citizen, hence, Barr is doing his job-full stop, Mister Schiff!  Mueller did not find any evidence that President Trump conspired with the Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 election.

Schiff implied that President Trump obstructed Mueller’s investigation because he did not give verbal testimony to Mueller. In our country, one cannot be compelled to testify against one’s self. Moreover, the president is entitled to the presumption of innocence just like every other citizen.

Schiff brings up the efforts on the president’s part to derail the investigation. If you knew you had committed no crime, but your subordinates were trying to lynch you, would it be reasonable to do anything you could to protect yourself? Indeed!!

Schiff brings up the Trump Tower meeting with the Russian lawyer. One: All Russians are not working for the Kremlin. Two: There is not a law on the books that it makes it a crime to listen to anyone. If Putin himself had shown up for the meeting and Don Jr. had stayed to listen, no crime would have been committed. Ultimately, the meeting was an enemy intelligence operation launched by Fusion GPS on the behalf of Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

Schiff reveals himself to be a liar to the public. Schiff is trying to distort the evidence as to whether these were criminal acts. Schiff admitted Mueller had more power to investigate. But, Schiff has said he has evidence that is classified and shows President Trump has committed the crime of conspiracy with the Russians. So, that leads to two possibilities. One: Schiff is lying to the public. Two: Schiff withheld information from the Special Counsel’s office.  Schiff has talked himself right into a corner!!
