Methodology: I will judge the dish on its appearance, texture, amount, price, components, and taste. I then will rate the dish from 1-5 stars. I have never been disappointed in any dish from Mesa Mercado. This was a takeout order. The fish and the squash are grilled, giving a slight pleasant smokey taste. For this price, I would have expected a third more rice with the dish. The lemon flower cut is the best I’ve seen for drizzling. The squash was cooked just right. The fish was cooked just right. It was moist inside with a slight glaze on the outside. The contents of the white cup have just the right amount of spicy heat. The contents are meant to cover the squash and fish. No complaints on the rice other than as I mentioned on the quantity. This dish earns 4 stars. Dining at Mesa Mercado has been always a pleasant experience.
