I am addressing this because Congress members are appearing in a new “documentary” claiming that the government has space aliens and their spacecraft. Aliens face the same physics of space travel that we do. The distances to other solar systems are measured in light-years. E=mc² applies to aliens, too. They cannot travel at speeds greater than light or close to light. Sure, 186,282 miles per second sounds fast until you know the vast distances between the solar systems and galaxies. Even if they could get to 40% of the speed of light, it would take thousands of years to arrive at Earth. And it would take that amount of energy to stop at Earth. Space is not empty of particles. At those speeds, dust particles would impact their spacecraft with the energy of an atomic explosion. Then there is the cosmic radiation. Even generational ships would fail to survive the journey to Earth because of the radiation exposure to the occupants. So, don’t be fooled, the government doesn’t have space aliens or their spacecraft.
