My mother in the 60s told me the bird adage to warn me about my association with troublemakers. The Democrats have embraced Graham Platner as a Senate candidate. Platner got a huge Nazi tattoo on his chest. The Democrats call everyone who isn’t in lockstep with them a Nazi. How do they explain their support for Platner? Here are some quotes from Platner and girlfriend accounts.

Key Quotes from Deleted Reddit Posts (Archived)
Platner posted under the username “P-Hustle” (mostly 2013–2021). Many were deleted before or after his campaign launch. Here are some of the most cited:
  • On sexual assault victims (2013):
    “Holy fuck, how about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not get so fucked up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to? Act like an adult for f–cks sake.”
  • On white rural Americans (2020):
    “Living in white rural America, I’m afraid to tell you they actually are [racist and stupid].”
  • Other notable comments:
    • Criticized police (“All cops are bastards” vibe).
    • Used slurs like “retarded” and homophobic language.
    • Called himself a “communist” in later posts.
    • Made crude or dismissive comments about sex, drinking, and personal responsibility.
Platner has attributed many of these to a dark period after leaving the military, involving PTSD, depression, heavy drinking, and loneliness. He has apologized for them but has called some of the coverage exaggerated. Major Accusations

    • One woman (Lyndsey Fifield) alleged he twisted her arm, shoved her into a room, and held the door to confine her. Platner strongly denies any physical violence, calling it “false” and “politically motivated.”
    • Others said he was charming but could become intimidating when drinking.
  3. Extramarital Sexting
    • Early in his marriage, he exchanged sexually explicit messages with other women. His wife flagged some to the campaign; she has publicly defended him and their marriage.
  4. Nazi-Linked Tattoo
    • He got a Totenkopf (skull) tattoo in 2007 while drunk in Croatia. It resembles a Nazi SS symbol. He covered it up after it became public, claiming he didn’t know the connection at the time. Critics dispute this.

The “Raping Intruders” Quote
“He said this a lot: ‘If anybody ever broke in here, I would rape them,’”
Fifield recalled, adding that Platner would say it was to demonstrate his dominance. She noted he clarified it was “not in a sexual way, not in a gay way.”
This was described as a recurring statement/fantasy Platner made during their relationship (2013–2015), often in the context of home invasion scenarios. Other ex-girlfriends also described him frequently talking about violence and dominance.
 
Exact Quote (March 2017, r/Military subreddit)
In a thread asking veterans about nostalgic military smells, Platner replied:
“I still have to jerk off every time I sit in a port-a-potty…that blue water smell conditioned me.”*

What happened to “Believe all women.” Platner seems to have severe mental illness. Of all the Democrats in Congress, only Senator John Fetterman has expressed concerns about Platner. Senator Chuck Schumer is extolling Platner to anyone who will listen. Is Platner the best person that the Democrats could find? What does that say about the Democrats’ judgment?
